I've come here often for years. Its a well stocked store for it's size. It's nice having a store with some healthier snack options than other convenience stores in the area. Employees are chill.

Very friendly employees. A lot of options to buy. Saves you if you are at TL area and don't want to walk so much.

Tsunami Market is clean and neatly organized. didn't see nor search throughly for prepped food. japanese ramen, bowls, veggies, gourmet foods/snacks yes. . buys: ginger drink(1.69) -probably the only tenderloin store that carry it. takeouts: -small store, items can be easily missed by a quik lookover.

A corner store in the TL that manages to stay clean deserves four stars. Period. So that's where those came from. The additional star is for the facts that they are well-stocked, have friendly employees, and don't put up with the in-store or just-outside-of-store presence of crazy conmen trying to run some sort of shady game. OK, I'll admit that crazy conmen in the TL aren't the toughest to spot, as they're in the TL because their skills have deteriorated from their height in 1983 or whatever, but a conman past his prime is a dangerous conman; whereas in the old days you'd just lose your wallet and not notice until a solid seven minutes later, now you might catch him trying to lift your wallet, and then what do you do? Fight? Grab him? Block his way? Disabuse him of his wannabe-pimp cane? None of these options are appealing, especially in the TL. Take it from a paranoid mark if ever there was one: If you need a convenience store in the TL and don't want to deal with the TL, duck into Tsunami Market for a second and let your guard down--OK, maybe that's bad advice. Pretend to relax. That's better.

Love this market. Totally the best one in this area of the TL. It's clean! The products are fresh! Credit cards accepted! Lots of name brand items! Well behaved dogs allowed! The owner and others are always smiling. They work with their customers to get the products stocked that they want!

When i was working around the area, this was my number one stop in case we had run out of milk or half and half. And it was my pit stop when i needed to get a pack of smokes, there was one time where i just couldnt handle it but for now its been 3 months since I've had a smoke and i'm proud of it. I feel horrible about this, but I can't remember the nice girl working there. We talked for a couple minutes but its those conversations where you feel like you got to vent about your day and stuff and walk away feeling better.

A great corner market in the TL!! It's new and so clean. The owner, Mimi, is really nice and she stocks modern healthy prepackaged stuff and some fruit & veg that you don't often come across down in these parts. Get a snack and go to the library. The shop's right on an alley so there's a spot to stash your bike or your car for a minute if you need to..

This brand new market is amazing, and SPARKLING CLEAN. They don't sell booze, but they sell everything else I like to put in my stomach - Pepperidge Farm cookies, Lorina Lemonade, even Pirate's Booty! (These are not liquor store food items, people, they are the world's best munchie foods!) Think of it as a really really really nice liquor store, without the liquor. Tons of organic juices, teas, mixes, etc. - even the Annie's Vegan Mac & Cheese that they have at Whole Foods. The prices are super reasonable and the owner, Mimi, is an absolute ray of sunshine who is so friendly and awesome that I don't even mind them not having booze. Also of note is that they take debit/credit cards, which a lot of stores in the neighborhood don't. Did I mention how amazingly CLEAN it is? Honestly, it puts every other liquor/convenience store in the neighborhood to shame. I was so excited about the consistent awesomeness after my last visit that I excitedly walked home thinking "I'm going to Yelp about this!". Totally worth a trip if you live in the area.
